Small city, packed basements
Garden City is a compact, mostly residential city full of post-war ranch houses on modest lots. Those homes don't have a lot of extra storage, so the basement and garage end up holding everything. That's where most of our Garden City work happens. We clear out basements packed with old furniture, holiday decorations and boxes, and garages that haven't had room for a car in years.
The city is small enough that we're usually only a short drive away, whether you're near Ford Road, Middlebelt, Merriman or Inkster Road.
Because lots are tight and many garages are detached at the back of the property, we bring the right number of people for the job and carry everything out the shortest way. You won't need to stage anything at the curb, and we sweep up the space when it's empty so it's ready to use again.
Estate cleanouts with care
Many Garden City homes have had the same owners for decades, and when it's time to clear one out, the job can feel overwhelming for the family. We go at your pace. If there are things you want to keep, set them aside or mark them, and we'll leave them alone. Everything else gets carried out, and usable items go to charity when possible. Estate cleanouts start at $575 and get a free on-site quote, so you know the full price first.
Single items and quick pickups
Not every job is a full cleanout. We pick up single items too, starting at $99: a worn-out recliner, a box spring, a broken dishwasher, an old piano bench. If you've been waiting for bulk pickup to come around, or the item is too heavy to get to the curb, we'll come take it from wherever it is in the house.
What we can't take
We don't haul paint, solvents, chemicals, fuel or propane tanks, asbestos or medical waste. Ask about tires and electronics, since extra fees may apply. For everything else, call or text (313) 367-3808 with a photo, and we'll send back an upfront quote.
