Hauling for Dearborn homes, from east side to west side
Dearborn is our home city, and most of our week is spent on its streets. A typical job here is a brick bungalow or colonial with a detached garage off the alley, a full basement, and stairs that are steeper than anyone remembers. We plan for that. The crew carries everything out from wherever it sits, whether that's a sectional in a finished basement or a stack of old storm windows behind the garage, and loads it straight onto the truck.
Jobs come from all over the city: the blocks around Michigan Avenue in west Dearborn, the neighborhoods off Warren Avenue on the east side, and the streets near Ford Road on the north end. Narrow driveways and alley-access garages are normal for us, so let us know if the alley is the easier way in.
When the city's bulk pickup isn't enough
Dearborn's curbside bulk pickup is handy for a chair or two, but it's capped at five items a week and won't take move-outs or most renovation debris. If you're clearing a whole room, finishing a kitchen remodel, or turning over a rental between tenants, waiting weeks of pickups isn't realistic. We take any amount in one visit, and nothing has to be dragged to the curb first.
Common Dearborn jobs
Basement cleanouts are the big one, especially after years of storage or a wet spring. We also do garage cleanouts, estate cleanouts for families settling a parent's house, and landlord turnovers for the many two-family and rental homes in town. Single items are welcome too: an old fridge, a mattress, a treadmill, a hot tub that hasn't run in years.
Usable furniture and household goods are donated to local charities when possible, and the rest is recycled or taken to proper disposal facilities. We don't take paint, chemicals, fuel tanks, asbestos or other hazardous materials. The city runs household hazardous waste drop-off days for those.
How pricing works
Pricing is based on how much truck space your items fill, from a single item starting at $99 up to a full truck starting at $575. Text a photo to (313) 367-3808 and we'll text back an upfront price. For big cleanouts we'll come take a look first, and you'll know the number before anything gets lifted.
